Your First Visit
The first step on your journey begins with your initial visit to our office for a complimentary consultation. At this visit, Dr. Garrison will review your dental history, perform an extensive oral examination and use the most advanced diagnostic tools (including digital photographs and x-rays) to best assess the patient’s treatment needs and options. Dr. Garrison will provide an overview of suggested treatment, discuss the best time to begin treatment and, most importantly, answer any questions that you may have about any aspect of your treatment … and what you can expect on your journey to a beautiful and healthy new smile.
You’ll also be given a tour of our state-of-the-art office, and meet with members of our support staff to get to know the Bluffton Orthodontics family. Our office manager will provide you with financing options and work closely with you to create a flexible payment plan to best meet your needs, budget and treatment plan -- and will be there throughout your journey to make sure everything runs seamlessly. Since we know that schedules are tight for busy families today, we’ll also provide you with a run-down as to appointment scheduling for various aspects throughout your treatment, so that you can plan accordingly when considering beginning treatment. Throughout your treatment, you should plan to see Dr. Garrison every four to eight weeks – and we’ll work closely with you to schedule appointments that are convenient for you and your family.
Prior to your first visit, you will receive an email from OrthoFi with a link to fill out new patient forms online. This will enable us to have the important background that can help us as we plan your best course of treatment. This will also allow us to check for any insurance benefits that you may have. If you are unable to fill out the forms before your appointment, don’t worry, you can fill them out on an iPad when you come into the office!
To arrange for your complimentary consultation, call us today, or click here and fill out the contact form and someone will be in touch with you to arrange an appointment.
